The Rollomatic 6-axis and 3-axis CNC grinding machines include capabilities for all of the following dental cutting tools:
Oral surgery
Dental burs come in a great variety of shapes designed for specific application. Some are solid carbide and others are a 2-piece construction with a welded shank. Both types can be accommodated on the Rollomatic range of machines.
Implant surgery
The most common tool made on Rollomatic machines for these purposes are implant step drills and step reamers.
Root canal surgery
Dental files also known as root canal reamers are usually made of a memory material called Nickel Titanium, sometimes in stainless steel. Rollomatic has extensive experience in grinding this type of material using special have hardware adaptation for support during flute and relief grinding.
Laboratory dental tools
These are mainly carbide burs brazed to a steel shank. Our GrindSmart 628XS is ideal for grinding these burs with a high level of software flexibility, superior productivity and quick setup.
