The Super Precision CNC246F is a fully automated 3-axis CNC tool grinder, complete with 2-axis loader for flute and O.D. relief grinding of cutting tools such as endmills, drills, routers and reamers as well as special applications in carbide, HSS and similar materials.

• Automatic loading: Shank range 1.0 - 6.35 mm with overall blank length 20 - 75 mm
• Manual Loading: Shank range 0.2 - 6.35 mm with overall blank length 20 - 100 mm

The control system allows the operator to freely program 3 axes for grinding movements with simultaneous 3 axes interpolation. Standard programs included with the control are for 2, 3 and 4 fluted tools.

The Rollomatic V-block or guide bushing system guarantees perfect concentricity from tool to tool. The system is suitable for grinding tools with high ratio between diameter and length.
      
The fluting and the relieving wheels are mounted on the same spindle. The spindle is removable and the wheel is trued directly on the spindle to ensure zero run-out of the wheel. The fluting and relieving wheel are positioned into their working location by a hydraulically-controlled precision slide. Mechanical micrometer stop provides extremely precise adjustment.

An automatic robot loader allows fast loading and unloading for unattended production. The unique and simple design of the loader guarantees highly reliable functioning. The robot is equipped with a front or back loading system. The blank capacity is 500 pieces (Ø 3,175).
