TRIMOS: Rollomatic Tool programming and Wheel Presetting Station
The Trimos Wheel Presetter by Rollomatic, allows rapidly define wheels geometries onto the VirtualGrind® Software.
After dressing the wheels, the wheel pack is mounted on the new Trimos Wheel Presetter with a new arbor, PerfectArbor, designed for the highest concentricity and repeatability guaranteed.
The new Rollomatic Trimos Wheel Presetter is a table-mounted unit with a camera and 2 linear glass scales. Both the glass scale controls and the camera software are built into a desktop PC. The captured picture is displayed in real-time within VirtualGrind® software and makes much faster scoping of grinding wheel packs.
Transfer wheel data automatically and view the wheel profile on the same screen as your 3DCalc®, 3D tool simulation within VirtualGrind®. You can simulate the grinding process, which eliminates the need for a dry run and reduces downtime on the machine.
This integrated network of Rollomatic GrindSmart® series machines and Trimos Wheel Presetter makes it easy programming and wheel management for consistency in designing and manufacturing cutting tools.
