CCD camera for micro coolant hole blanks positioning 628XS

A CCD camera fitted to the GrindSmart 628XS machine is used to locate micro coolant holes on small coolant-hole drills. This location is necessary so that the flutes and cutting geometry can be ground on these blanks. The CCD camera system is used when the coolant holes are in the micro range up to Ø 0.002" ( 0.05mm)and are too small to be positioned with an electronic touch probe.
