This new grinding slide system has been designed to improve stability and rigidity of critical rail system on some of the grinding machines. The approach of this design is to use a one-piece recessed base to provide thermal homogeneity and avoid any distortion. In addition, the guide rails are totally sealed with air purge. The glass scale accuracy can go down to 10 nanometers.
