The SmartHolder is a holder for a grinding spindle which attaches the spindle in a way that does not impose pressure on the spindle bearings. The clamping force on the outer body of the spindle is pre-determined and there is no deformation of the spindle bearings. There is also high positioning repeatability. Oil cooling is an integral part of this system (patent pending).
