The GrindSmart® 628XS is a fully-interpolating 6-axis machine, capable of producing any geometry needed. Rotary cutting tools can be produced with precision and flexibility with our automated robot loader and patented v-block and steady rest system. The 628XS holding system is designed for optimal concentricity and accuracy, with the v-block maintaining tool placement and the steady rest supporting the shank. The 6th axis swivels around the tool as it grinds, allowing you to grind complex geometries in one clamping.
