With hydrostatic slides and a torque motor on the rotary B axis, obtaining superior surface finish and cutting edge quality is now easier than ever. This technology also offers very high thermal stability which enables you to run long batches unattended while holding diameter tolerances below 0.005 mm (0.0002”).
The new floating workhead design and shank guide system offer the ability to adjust tool run-out within 0.001 mm (0.00004”) tolerance and decreases setup time to less than 30 min. The new GrindSmart®Nano6 has become the machine of choice for the world’s most demanding cutting tools manufacturers.
