The NanoSet system is a positioning method for V-block and steady rest supports as well as clamping grippers for grinding micro drills (patent pending). The positioning is in 4 planes. It is a single-piece design and is based on material deformation which is imposed by fine-pitch set screws. There is no friction, no wear and no backlash in this system and setup time for the micro drill grinding machine greatly reduced. Material deformation is also used for round shank clamping.
