FluteCalc is a software package to design cutting tool flutes. It can be integrated into VirtualGrind for automatic data transfer, but can also be used separately, as well as for G&M (ISO) programming methods. This package designs flute shapes and wheel shapes including reverse-engineering of a flute shape to utilize existing wheel shapes. A 2-dimensional simulator of flute/OD, as well as wheel shapes, is included.
 
As an additional feature, the number of passes per flute can be defined by the user. Each pass can be controlled by depth or volume.
